No. Placement entirely on private property — your driveway, yard, or a parking pad — is unregulated everywhere in our service area. No permit is required for private property placement.

Any time the container needs to sit in a public street rather than on private property, it falls under the City of Chandler’s Encroachment Permit process (City Code Part VII, Section 46.2), handled by the Transportation and Development Department’s Civil Engineering Plan Review Section. No flat dumpster-specific fee is published on the City’s site, so we’ll tell you to call the City directly to confirm current requirements before booking.

Because it genuinely isn’t published. The City’s Encroachment Permit process and its Utility Permit Manual confirm the governing process is real, but no dumpster-specific flat fee shows up anywhere on the City’s own site.
